INGREDIENTS

c Butter [softened]
1 c Brown sugar [firmly packed]
1 c Sugar
lg Eggs
tb Milk
ts Vanilla
1 c Flour
ts Baking soda
1 ts Salt, optional
2 c Quaker Oats, quick or old
c Nestle's Toll House semi-
c Nuts [chopped], optional

INSTRUCTIONS

*  :          -- fasioned) [uncooked]  :          -- sweet chocolate
morsels  >>>>Pre-heat oven to 375ø<<<<  Beat butter, and sugars until
creamy... then add the eggs, milk and  vanilla, and beat well... Add
the flour, baking soda, and salt,  mixing well after each addition...
Stir in the oats, chocolate  morsels, and nuts and mix well... Drop by
rounded measuring tbs onto  UN-greased cookie sheet and bake 9 to 10
min for a chewey cookie or  12 to 13 min for a crisp cookie.. Cool on a
cookie sheet for 1 min  then move to a wire rack and cool completely...
This is probably the best chocolate chip cookie that I've ever tasted
