God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
[Satan] wants us to laugh at sin rather than mourn over it, and to rationalize it rather than confess it and bring it to the Lord for forgiveness. He seduces us to become so used to sin in us and around us that it no longer bothers our conscience.

INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oven to 375. Grease a 13x9x2-inch pan. Mix shortening, peanut butter,
sugars & egg thoroughly. Stir in water, flour, soda, baking powder, salt &
1 package chocolate morsels. Spread in pan. Bake about 20 minutes. Remove
from oven & immediately sprinkle remaining package of chocolate morsels
evenly over baked layer. Place baking sheet over pan so contained heat will
soften morsels. Spread softened chocolate evenly. Sprinkle with peanuts &
cut into bars. Makes about 32 cookies.
