INSTRUCTIONS

Christmas Eve holds special meanings to the people of Spain and is
celebrated in different manners in the varied regions. In the
Pyrenees, rural folk remember their dead, in urban centers is it a
time of gift-giving and elsewhere in Spain the Midnight Mass is
celebrated outdoors with the shepherds, just as it has been done since
the Middle Ages. Appease your family gathering as out-of-town guests
begin to arrive and celebrate your Christmas Eve with a little Spanish
Hot Chocolate from The Cook & Kitchen Staff at Recipe-a-Day.com.
Break chocolate into small pieces and place in a saucepan with milk.
Heat slowly, stirring with a whisk until just before the boiling
point. Dissolve cornstarch in a few tablespoons water. Add dissolved
cornstarch to chocolate mixture and stir constantly until the liquid
thickens. Serve hot in warmed cups. Happy Cooking from The Cook &
