Chocolate Applesauce Cake

INGREDIENTS

1 c Butter or margarine
1 1/4 c Sugar
1 c Applesauce
3 oz Dark chocolate; melted
1 ts Cinnamon
1 1/2 ts Vanilla extract
3 Eggs
2 c Flour
2 ts Baking soda
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 c Buttermilk
1 c Chocolate chips

Preheat oven to medium heat and grease and flour a 20 x 30 cm rectangular
pan.
Using mixer, beat margarine and sugar until fluffy. Add applesauce, melted
chocolate cinnamon and vanilla, mixing well. Add eggs one at a time and mix
well after each addition.
Add the dry ingredients, alternating with the buttermilk. Stir in the
chocolate chips.
Bake for 35-+45 minutes and let cool completely in the pan. You can drizzle
more melted chocolate over the top if you'd like.
