Chocolate Brownie With Apricot Sauce

INGREDIENTS

200 g Cooking chocolate
100 g Butter
1 1/2 c Sugar
4 Eggs
1 c Flour
1/2 t Baking powder
1 t Vanilla essence
1 c Dried apricots
2 c Orange juice

INSTRUCTIONS

Brownies  Melt cooking chocolate and butter together over a medium
heat.  Remove from heat and stir in sugar and cool slightly.  Add eggs
and beat with a wooden spoon to combine.  Mix in flour, baking powder
and vanilla until smooth.  Pour into a baking paper-lined 20cm square
cake tin. Bake at 190 C for  40-45 minutes or until brownie is set.
Make Apricot Sauce and pour over brownie.  Apricot Sauce:  Place
apricots in a saucepan with orange juice and bring to the boil.  Simmer
for 10 minutes. Leave to cool.  Puree in a food processor.  Converted
