Chocolate Brownies With Strawberries

INGREDIENTS

1 Box low-fat brownie mix
1 c Non-fat or low fat yogurt
plain or vanilla
4 oz Coarsely grated semi-sweet
chocolate
1 pt Fresh strawberries, sliced
2 up to
3 t Sugar
1/8 up to
1/4 t Almond extract
Whipped cream or vanilla ice
cream
Fresh mint leaves

INSTRUCTIONS

(George R. McTyre, Waco, Texas) Mix  the brownie mix, yogurt and
chocolate together and bake according to  the package directions.
Remove from oven and allow to cool.  Slice strawberries and toss with
the sugar. Sprinkle with the almond  extract. Allow to sit a few
minutes at room temperature.  Serve the brownies with strawberries
spooned over the top.  Garnish  with a dollop of whipped cream or ice
cream and a few mint leaves.  (We had the strawberries served over
vanilla frozen yogurt one night  at a friend's house. The sugar and the
almond extract make a great,  light glaze for the berries.)  DAVE
