Chocolate Chunk Cookies

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Butter, at cool room temp.
1/2 c Sugar
1/4 c Firmly packed brown sugar
1 ts Vanilla
1 Egg
1 c Flour
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
8 oz Baker's German's Sweet
Chocolate OR
8 oz Baker's Semi-Sweet
Chocolate
1 1/3 c Baker's Angel Flake Coconut
(optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

*Cut into large 3/8 inch chunks*
Beat butter, sugars, vanilla and egg until light and fluffy. Mix
flour with soda and salt. Blend this into butter mixture. Stir in
chcolate chunks and the coconut. Chill 1 hour. Drop 2 in. apart by
heaping tbsp. onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 deg. for 12 to
15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cookies will be soft in center
when done. Cool 2 minutes before removing from sheet. Makes 2 doz. 3
1/2 inch cookies. *If desired, place additional chocolate chunks on
top of cookies before baking.
