Chocolate Coconut Slice

INGREDIENTS

180 g Butter
2 tb Golden syrup
3/4 c Sugar
2 tb Cocoa powder
1 c Plain flour
3/4 c Desiccated coconut
1 1/2 ts Baking powder
1 c Icing sugar
1 tb Cocoa
2 tb Hot water
1 ts Margarine

INSTRUCTIONS

FOR THE SLICE
FOR THE ICING
1. Place the butter, syrup, sugar and cocoa in a glass or plastic
bowl.
2. Microwave on "medium" for 3 minutes.
3. Stir very well until smooth.
4. Add the flour, baking powder and coconut and stir well.
5. Press into a square casserole dish (about 18cm. square)
6. Microwave on 'medium' for 7 minutes.
7. Remove from the microwave and cool.
8. To make the icing, mix all the ingredients until smooth and pour
over the chocolate slice.
9. When the slice is cool, cut into squares.
