Jesus said, “Any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple” (Luke 14:33). We must honestly face the question, “Am I willing to give up a certain practice or habit that is keeping me from holiness?” It is at this point of commitment that most of us fail. We prefer to dally with sin, to try to play with it a little without getting too deeply involved.

Chocolate Cupcakes

Vegetarian 1 Servings

INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 c White flour
2/3 c Cocoa powder
2 c Sugar
1/2 ts Salt
6 tb Apple sauce
2 1/4 c Water
1 ts Vanilla extract
2 tb Rice or white vinegar
2 ts Baking soda

INSTRUCTIONS

In large bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. In separate bowl combine
liquid ingredients. Stir liquid into dry ingredients until blended.Fill non
stick sprayed muffin pans. Bake in preheated 375 oven for 25 minutes.
Remove from pan and place on a rack to cool. Makes 18 cupcakes.
NOTES : no eggs or dairy products
