INGREDIENTS
1/2 | c | Brown sugar, packed |
1/3 | c | Unsweetened cocoa powder |
1 | t | Cornstarch |
3/4 | c | Water |
1 | T | Margarine |
1 | t | Vanilla |
INSTRUCTIONS
In a small saucepan combine brown sugar, cocoa powder, and cornstarch. Add water. Cook and stir over medium heat till sauce is thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more. Remove from heat; stir in margarine and vanilla. Cover and chill thoroughly before serving. Makes about 1 1/4 cups. Great with ice milk or slices of cake.
