Wash berries, pat dry. Place on paper towels until room temperature. In a
double boiler or sauce pan over hot watter - combine chips, butter, corn
syrup, and Amaretto. Heat until chips melt stirring occasionally. Turn
off heat. Hold chocolate mixture over lukewarm water (100F-115F) for
dipping. Dip strawberries until 2/3 coated. Chill on wax paper 15 minutes.
Best when eated within 3-4 hours.
Note: This is the recipe as printed on my recipe card. I often melt the
chips, etc in the microwave. Also, the berries come off the wax paper
better if you use some lite cooking spray.
