A thankful heart is one of the primary identifying characteristics of a believer. It stands in stark contrast to pride, selfishness, and worry. And it helps fortify the believer’s trust in the Lord and reliance of His provision, even in the toughest times. No matter how choppy the seas become, a believer’s heart is buoyed by constant praise and gratefulness to the Lord.
Preheat over to 350F.
Press half of the cookie dough onto the bottom of an 8 or 9-inch ungreased
springform pan. Bake for 14 to 18 minutes, until golden brown. Cool for 15
minutes.
Combine other ingredients, adding more water 1 teaspoon at a time until
smooth. Spread this mixture over the baked crust. Then spread the melted
chocolate chips on top. Garnish with pecan halves, if desired.
Refrigerate 1 hour, or until the melted chocolate layer has set.
