INGREDIENTS

3 c Flour
1 1/2 c Sugar
3/4 c Cocoa powder
3/4 ts Salt
3 ts Baking powder
1 1/2 c Milk
2 Eggs
1 1/2 ts Vanilla
3/4 c Shortening
3/4 c Butter; softened
2 c Powdered sugar
1/8 ts Salt
1 Jar marshmallow cream; 7 oz.
1 1/2 ts Vanilla
1 tb Milk

INSTRUCTIONS

COOKIE
FILLING
For Cookie: Blend together dry ingredients and then add all wet
ingredients. Blend thoroughly. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto an ungreased
cookie sheet. Leave space and only use a teaspoon,they spread. Bake at 400
for 7-8 minutes. Remove immediately and cool. Makes a soft cake like
cookie. For Filling:Blend all and beat with mixer till fluffy. Spread
filling on one cookie and top with another, sandwich style.
