INGREDIENTS

1 md Onion. diced
2 Cloves garlic; minced
1 tb Melted butter or margarine
2 c Steamed green beans
1 Egg hard-boiled and peeled
1/2 c Walnuts; toasted
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Black pepper
1/4 c Mayonnaise

INSTRUCTIONS

Makes 3 cups OVO LACTO
In large saute pan over low heat, saute onion and garlic in butter or
margarine on low heat until coated with butter or margarine and
translucent, about 5 minutes. In food processor, combine remaining
ingredients, except mayonnaise, and process to desired consistency. It
should be somewhat smooth, like a pate. Add mayonnaise; process to
thoroughly blend. Makes 3 cups.
PER TABLESPOON: 23 CAL.; 1G PROT.; 2G TOTAL FAT (0.4G SAT. FAT); 1G
CARB.; 6MG CHOL.; 23MG SOD.; 0 FIBER
