Christmas Tree Hamburgers

INGREDIENTS

16 4 1/2 inch hamburger buns
2 lb Lean ground beef
1 Envelope ( 1.34 oz.) dry onion soup mix
Sweet red pepper and canned American process cheese spread to garnish
Bugle-shaped corn chips and desired vegetables, relish, cheese, and condiments to serve

INSTRUCTIONS

Use a 4 inch high tree-shaped cookie cutter to cut out tree from top
and bottom of each bun.  Store tree-shaped buns in an airtight
container until ready to serve.
In a medium bowl, combine ground beef and soup mix.  Shape meat
mixture into sixteen 4 inch high triangular shapes.  cook in a large
skillet over medium heat to desired doneness.  Transfer to paper
towels to drain. cover and keep warm until ready to serve.
Use a star-shaped aspic cutter to cut out stars from red pepper.  To
serve, assemble hamburgers on plates; garnish with process cheese and
red pepper stars.  Serve with bugle-shaped corn chips and desired
vegetables, relish, cheese, and condiments.  Yield: 16 hamburgers
