Let us thank God heartily as often as we pray that we have His Spirit in us to teach us to pray. Thanksgiving will draw our hearts out to God and keep us engaged with Him; it will take our attention from ourselves and give the Spirit room in our hearts.

Cinderella Sauce

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 c Ketchup
1 c Beer
3/4 c Cider vinegar
1/4 c Fresh cilantro, minced
3 tb Brown sugar
2 tb Worcestershire sauce
2 Cloves garlic, minced
2 ts Ground Cumin
1 1/2 ts Ground Anise seeds
1 1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Tabasco sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix the ingredients in a saucepan and bring the liquid to a simmer. Reduce
the heat to low and cook the mixture until it thickens, approximately 40
minutes. Stir frequently. Use the sauce warm. It keeps, refrigerated, for a
couple of weeks.
