INSTRUCTIONS
Boil apples, 1 1/4 cups sugar, water and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Mix and add
by spoonfuls the batter consisting of flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, baking
powder, salt, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg, egg and milk. Cover and steam
for 20 minutes. Do not peek. Delicious with milk or ice cream on top.
