Apples, peeled and sliced |

INSTRUCTIONS
Place apples and water in a very large saucepan. Cook down over medium
heat until apples are somewhat mushy, more applesauce like and most of the
water has cooked off (about 20-30 minutes). Stir occasionally and break big
chunks of apple up against side of pan. Add sugar and red hots; stir until
red hots dissolve.
Makes about 10 cups
