INGREDIENTS

1/4 c Granulated sugar
1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
2 c Bisquick® baking mix
3/4 c Unsweetened applesauce
1/3 c Packed brown sugar
1/3 c Chopped nuts; if desired
3 tb Vegetable oil
1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
1/4 ts Ground nutmeg
1/4 ts Ground allspice
1 Egg
3 tb Butter or margarine; melted

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat oven to 450F degrees.
Line 12 medium muffin cups, 2 1/2 X 1 1/4", with paper baking cups. Mix
granulated sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon; reserve.
Mix remaining ingredients except butter with fork until moistened. Divide
batter among muffin cups.
Bake until golden brown, 15-20 minutes. Immediately remove from muffin
cups. While warm, dip tops into melted butter, then into sugar-cinnamon
mixture.
