INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Granulated sugar
1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
1 c Butter, softened
1/2 c Firmly packed brown sugar
1 ts Vanilla extract
2 c All-purpose flour
1 c Finely ground pecans
1/4 ts Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  In a small bowl, combine granulated
sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
In a medium bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and vanilla until
fluffy. Stir in flour, pecans, and salt.  Shape dough into 3 inch
long rolls. Place each roll in sugar mixture and spoon sugar mixture
over until well coated. Place on a greased baking sheet.  Bake 15 to
18 minutes or until light brown. Transfer to a wire rack to cool
completely. Store in airtight container. Yield: about 4 1/2 dozen
