Cinnamon Meringue Tarts

INGREDIENTS

3 Egg whites; at room temperature
1/4 ts Salt
1/4 ts Cream of tartar
1/2 ts Cinnamon
3/4 c Sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

Beat egg whites until frothy with cream of tartar and salt. Add sugar and
cinnamon and beat until very stiff. Shape into tarts on a cookie sheet that
has been covered with foil.  Bake at 275° for 1 hour. Turn oven off and let
cool in oven for another hour. May be stored in a tin for weeks.  Serve
with a scoop of ice cream topped with Grand Marnier sauce or chocolate
sauce. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
