INGREDIENTS
| 1 | c | Packed dark brown sugar |
| 2 | ts | Cornstarch |
| 1 | ts | Ground cinnamon |
| 2 | tb | Butter — or margarine |
| 2 | ts | Vanilla extract |
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a sauce pan, combine brown sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon. Gradually blend in 2 cups BOILING water. Cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened. 2. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla. Yield: 2-1/2 cups of sauce to serve over ice cream, baked bananas, pineapples, and plain cakes.
