INGREDIENTS

1 lb Potatoes
4 Shallots; or
1 tb Chopped chives
1 lb White or yellow turnips
1 Heaped tbsp butter or dripping
Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Boil vegetables separately, drain.
Mash very well, adding all other ingredients.
Season to taste, serve hot.
