Classic Carbonara

INGREDIENTS

1 c Chicken broth
3/4 c Light cream
2 oz Parmesan cheese
Salt
Black pepper
2 sl Proscuitto
4 sl Bacon
Flat-leaf parsley
Chopped basil leaves
Spinach fettuccine

INSTRUCTIONS

Grate Parmesan cheese into a bowl. Add chicken broth & cream. Stir
well. Add salt & pepper to taste. Add spinach fettuccine to pot of
boiling water. Cook al dente. Drain. Chop proscuitto & add to bowl of
sauce. Stir in crumbled bacon. Add parsley & basil. Toss together
well. Put pasta back into pot & pour sauce over all. Turn heat to low
& toss until well heated. Turn off heat & cover until ready to serve.
Approximately 5-8 minutes.
Per serving (excluding unknown items): 796 Calories; 67g Fat (76%
calories from fat); 37g Protein; 11g Carbohydrate; 188mg Cholesterol;
3096mg Sodium
