INGREDIENTS
| 1 | pk | Devil's food cake mix |
| 1 | cn | Cherry pie filling |
| 2 | Eggs | |
| 1 | ts | Vanilla |
| 1 | c | Sugar |
| 1 | Stick butter or margarine | |
| 1/4 | c | Evaporated milk |
| 6 | oz | Chocolate chips |
| 1/2 | c | Pecans or walnuts; chopped |
INSTRUCTIONS
TOPPING Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first 4 ingredients. Bake in a 9x13x2 inch pan for 30 to 35 minutes. *** Topping *** In saucepan, combine sugar, butter and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil over low heat. Boil for 1 minute. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Immediately pour over hot cake. Can be served hot or cold. Very rich.
