Coconut And Peanut Butter Sauce

INGREDIENTS

3/4 c Unsweetened coconut milk
1/4 c Peanut butter
1 Green chili pepper, seeded
finely chopped
1 T Cilantro, snipped
1/2 t Lemon peel, shredded
1/2 t Fish sauce or 1/2 teaspoon
soy sauce
Milk

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan. Cook and stir over
medium heat till bubbly. Reduce hat; simmer, uncovered, 5-10 minutes.
If sauce is too thick, stir in a little milk. Serve warm with
Indonesian Beef-Coconut Balls.  Recipe by: Holiday Appetizers 1996,
