Coffee Cordial

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 c Granulated sugar
1 c Brown sugar -; (packed)
2 c Water
1/3 c Instant coffee granules or crystals
2 c Brandy
2 c Vodka
1 Vanilla bean

INSTRUCTIONS

In medium saucepan, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar and water.
Bring to a boil; simmer uncovered 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in coffee until dissolved. Let cool. Pour into 2-quart glass jar
with lid. Add brandy, vodka and vanilla bean; blend well. Cover
tightly with lid. Allow to stand at room temperature for 2 weeks,
stirring occasionally. Pour into decorative bottles; cap tightly.
Yield: 7 cups
