God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
Except in rare cases, the experience of direct interventions of God’s guidance in the lives of various Bible characters was not indicative of normal discipleship and they are likely recorded precisely because of their unusual nature. Due to the compressed makeup of the Bible it appears to its reader that God is speaking directly more often than He actually does.

INSTRUCTIONS
As served by King Neptune:
Combine eggs and milk, beating with a whisk until frothy. Pour into cooking
pans, cooking each in one piece, turning each when one side is slightly
less than done.
When the eggs are almost done remove from heat and smooth the cold lard
across half of the omelet and fold in half. Sprinkle the hair on top and
cut into as many servings a needed. Submitted By JOHN SCHLANK
