God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
The limits of that delegated authority are defined by God and not by Caesar. But when Caesar removes God from the equation, who then decides the limits of Caesar’s authority? Of course, it will be Caesar! And in doing so, Caesar, whether he is aware of it or not, is taking the place of God – he is making himself a god. G.K. Chesterton famously said that “Once abolish the God, and the government becomes the God” (Anthony Forsyth).

INSTRUCTIONS
You were told right. This ethereal Hungarian soup is the first adult food
my now 7-y-o daughter ever ate. (Good choice.) I have been making this for
ca 30 years (like Kara, I started young)!
Combine liquid from cherries plus water to equal 3 cups, wine, sugar, and
cinnamon in large pot. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Add cherries and
simmer 10 more minutes. Remove cinnamon. Mix arrowroot and water and stir
into soup. Cook and stir for a few more minutes. Chill we.. Add cream just
before serving. Jean B. via recipelu

A Message from our Provider:
“Many favors which God gives us ravel out for want of hemming through our unthankfulness; for though prayer purchases blessings, giving praise keeps the quiet possession of them. #Thomas Fuller”
