We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

In the sentence of life, the devil may be a comma--but never let him be the period.

INGREDIENTS

3/4 Cut egg white
1/2 ts Salt
1 1/2 ts Baking powder
1/3 c Shortening
3/4 c Sugar
1/2 ts Vanilla
2 c Cake flour

INSTRUCTIONS

Here's another recipe given me by Rev. Don Chichester, our pastor. I baked
it for special communion services when I served as elder.
Cream shortening, sugar, salt; add beaten egg white (not stiff). Beat and
add flour and baking powder. Add vanilla and beat until smooth. Spread thin
on greased and floured cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool before cutting into small pieces.
Of course, unused bread may be frozen.
*This makes a sweet, almost cakelike, bread.
