INGREDIENTS
| For each quart jar you will need: | ||
| 1 | c | Light brown sugar |
| 1/2 | c | Granulated sugar |
| 1 1/2 | c | Candy coated chocolates or chocolate chips |
| 2 | c | All purpose flour |
| 1 | ts | Salt |
| 1 | ts | Baking soda |
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix salt and baking soda with flour. Then layer ingredients in jar as desired. Cover lid with a fabric circle and tie with a ribbon. To the ribbon attach a card with these directions: To make cookies you will need: Cookie mix in a jar 1 c. butter 1 egg 1 t. vanilla Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift jar ingredients through a colander to separate out chocolate pieces from dry ingredients. Beat butter in a medium bowl until fluffy. Beat sifted dry ingredients into butter until blended. In a small bowl, beat egg and vanilla. Mix beaten egg mixture into butter mixture until blended. Stir in chocolate pieces. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
