God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
We should never be afraid to examine ourselves. But when doubts do arise, the solution is not to try harder to prove to ourselves that we are believers. The solution is to flee to the cross and to the righteousness of Christ, which is our only hope. And then, having looked to Christ alone for our justification, we can look to His Spirit to enable us to deal with those areas of our lives that cause doubt.

Corn Bread from Scratch 2 to 3 hours
Corn bread mix is so successful you really don't need to make it from
scratch, but it costs more than a hand-mixed version. I grease the mold for
corn bread with bacon drippings.
To Cook: In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking
powder, and salt. Make a well in the center. Turn the egg, milk, and melted
butter or oil into the well and beat into the dry mixture until just
moistened. Turn into a greased 2-quart mold, cover with a plate, and place
on a trivet or rack in the bottom of the slow cooker. Cover the cooker,
cook on high for 2 to 3 hours. Makes 6 servings.

A Message from our Provider:
“We need to discover all over again that worship is natural to the Christian, as it was to the godly Israelites who wrote the psalms, and that the habit of celebrating the greatness and graciousness of God yields an endless flow of thankfulness, joy, and zeal. #J.I. Packer”
