INSTRUCTIONS
Combine first 4 dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. In another bowl,
combine egg, milk and vanilla. Add to corn meal mixture. Stir in
salt. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 20
to 25 minutes or until golden. Yield: approximately 12 muffins.
