Let us thank God heartily as often as we pray that we have His Spirit in us to teach us to pray. Thanksgiving will draw our hearts out to God and keep us engaged with Him; it will take our attention from ourselves and give the Spirit room in our hearts.
These are soft, cake-like cookies packed with nutricious ingredients and
not high in fat. They also pass the taste test with my kids:-)
1. In a small bowl combine the flour, bran, dry milk, wh. germ, baking
pwder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and raisins. Set the mixture aside.
2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter or marg. and the cottage cheese
until they are smooth. Add the sugar and honey, and beat the mixture until
it is fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla and beat mixture again.
3.Gradually stir the reserved flour mixture into the cottage cheese mixture
until they are just blended. Place round tsps of batter 2 inches apart on
Pam sprayed cookie sheets.
4. Bake cookies in preheated 350 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until
edge of cookies turn golden. Remove cookies from the pan to a rack to cool.
Delicious with milk or tea.
