Grains Side, Dishes 4 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Fresh green beans, trimmed
1/4 c Chopped fully cooked ham
1/4 c Butter
1/4 c Water
1 Garlic clove, minced
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

In a saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes
or until beans are tender.
YIELD: 4 servings
NOTES : You can also add 1/4 cup chopped onion, but I think it tastes fine
without it.
