INGREDIENTS
1 | lb | Fresh green beans, trimmed |
1/4 | c | Chopped fully cooked ham |
1/4 | c | Butter |
1/4 | c | Water |
1 | Garlic clove, minced | |
1/2 | t | Salt |
1/4 | t | Pepper |
INSTRUCTIONS
In a saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until beans are tender. YIELD: 4 servings NOTES : You can also add 1/4 cup chopped onion, but I think it tastes fine without it.
