Eggs; (well beaten)
Additional cinnamon
INSTRUCTIONS
Blend flour, sugar, salt, and shortening until mixture resembles fine
crumbs. Reserve 1/2 cup for topping. Add baking powder and spices; mix
well. Add milk and eggs; mix well. Place in 2 cake pans or one 13 x 9-inch
pan and sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and
chopped nuts on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes for layers or
40 minutes for loaf.
