INGREDIENTS

1/4 c Butter
2 ts All-purpose flour
1 c Heavy cream
2 Green onions; chopped
1 c Grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 ts Sugar
1 ts Worcestershire sauce
Salt and white pepper
2 ds Tabasco; or to taste
1/2 lb Crabmeat
1/2 lb Peeled shrimp
2 tb Bread crumbs
Chopped parsley

INSTRUCTIONS

Melt the butter in a heavy iron skillet, Add the flour and stir into the
butter over low heat. When blended, add the cream slowly and then add all
the other ingredients except the seafood, bread crumbs and parsley. Blend
in over low heat for 2 or 3 minutes. Fold in the seafood, transfer the
mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with the bread crumbs. Bake in a 350
degree oven for about 15 minutes until bubbly. Sprinkle with chopped
parsley and serve on toast points with a salad and a chilled white wine.
Serves 2. Note: This can be made either with all shrimp or all crab, if
preferred, but using both makes it a more interesting dish. Formatted by

Bites For Hungry Bikers by Owen Rossan. Lynn's notes: Made this 11-7-97;
this dish would be best served in individual ramekins otherwise, let dish
sit for 10 to 15 minutes to firm up. This would be a great dish to serve to
company; very flavorful and rich.
