Crab With Curried Almond Rice

INGREDIENTS

6 T Butter
2 Tomatoes, peeled and chopd
1 Clove garlic, chopped
4 Tabasco sauce, or more to
taste
1 t Salt
1/4 t Pepper
1/2 t Paprika
6 T Flour
3 c Milk
2 Or frozen pkgs. crab meat or
imitation crab
1 c Blanched almonds
1 t Curry powder
3 c Hot cooked rice

INSTRUCTIONS

Melt 6 T. margarine in saucepan. Add tomatoes, garlic, Worcestershire
sauce, Tabasco and seasonings. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Add
flour and stir until well blended. Add milk and simmer until thick,
stirring constantly. Add crabmeat. Simmer for 10 mins. Meanwhile melt
2 T. butter in another saucepan. Add almonds and curry powder. Saute.
Stir and toss with rice. Serve sauce and crab over rice. MC  formatting
