Do you believe you live in a “crooked and perverse generation” that by necessity demands you hold fast to God’s Word? Are you standing firm in no way overcome by your trials because you are fully relying on the promises of God?

1	c	Sugar
1/2	c	Butter or margarine
12	oz	Chocolate chips; divided
3	lg	Eggs
1 1/3	c	Flour
1	ts	Vanilla
1/4	ts	Baking soda
1/3	c	Chopped nuts

Recipe By: Nestle's Best-Loved Cookies
Heat sugar & butter in saucepan over low heat, stirring until butter is
melted. Remove from heat. Add 1-1/4 cups chips; stir until melted. Stir in
eggs. Stir in flour, vanilla & baking soda until combined. Spread into a
greased 13 x 9 baking pan.
Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 18 - 22 minutes or until a toothpick
inserted in the center comes out slightly sticky.
Sprinkle with remaining chips & nuts while still hot . Cover with foil.
Chill in pan until completely cooled. Cut into bars.
