Cranberry Chess Pie

INGREDIENTS

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Sprinkle the cranberries in the pie shell.
Cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy, beat in the eggs one

INSTRUCTIONS

(I was considering cutting the sugar content down--will the texture still
be good?) Does anyone have a different recipe for Chess Pie (not the silly
Jefferson Davis Pie in tart shells that masquerades as one in one of the
older _Joy of Cooking_ versions)?
