Let us thank God heartily as often as we pray that we have His Spirit in us to teach us to pray. Thanksgiving will draw our hearts out to God and keep us engaged with Him; it will take our attention from ourselves and give the Spirit room in our hearts.

INGREDIENTS

1 Bag Ocean Spray cranberries
1 md Red onion, chopped
1/2 c Almonds, whole
1 md Apple, chopped
2 Navel oranges, chopped
1 c Dry red wine (cabernet sauvignon, merlot, etc.)
1 c Demerara sugar (or opt for light brown or turbinado sugar)
1 ts Grated orange peel
1/2 ts Each: allspcice, cinnmon, ginger
1/4 Teapsoon ground clove

INSTRUCTIONS

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Combine all ingredients in a stainless steel pot.
Bring to a boil uncovered. Then lower to a simmer and cover for for the
remaining cooking time: about 1 hour. The mixture should be thick like a
good finished jam or marmalade.
