INGREDIENTS
| 2 | c | Flour; sifted |
| 1 | c | Sugar |
| 1 1/2 | ts | Baking powder |
| 1/2 | ts | Salt |
| 1/2 | ts | Baking soda |
| 1 | c | Fresh cranberries; chopped |
| 1 | ts | Grated orange peel |
| 3/4 | c | Orange juice |
| 1 | Egg; well beaten | |
| 1 | c | Chopped nuts |
| 1/4 | c | Shortening |
INSTRUCTIONS
Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Combine peel, juice and egg. Add to dry ingredients, mixing just to moisten. Fold in berries and nuts. Turn into greased 9 x 5 x 3 pan.
