We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

If the church wants a better pastor, it only needs to pray for the one it has.

INGREDIENTS

2 pk Pilsbury crescent rolls
2 pk (8-oz) cream cheese
1 Egg
1 ts Vanilla (up to)
1 1/4 c Sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

submitted by: zarina@gopher.ccbr.umn.edu (Zarina Alloo, Minneapolis, MN)
Mix cream cheese, vanilla, 1 cup sugar and egg yolk (save the egg white)
with an electric beater.
Take one package of the crescent rolls, unroll it carefully and lay it flat
on the bottom of a 9"x13" pan. (Be careful not to split the crescent roll
dough when unrolling it out of the package.) Spread the cream cheese
mixture over the dough in the pan. Unroll the dough from the second package
of crescent rolls and place it on top of the cream cheese mixture.
Whip the egg white and brush it over the top layer of the crescent roll
dough in the pan. Sprinkle with the remaining (1/4 cup) sugar.
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 350 F for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool and cut into bars.
