[Providence] insists that everything (yes, everything) that happens does so because God wills it to happen, wills it to happen before it happens, wills it to happen in the way that it happens. Such a view signals immediately that history is not arbitrary or fortuitous; neither is it “simple determinism,” “Que Sera, Sera” or, “whatever will be, will be,” as though our own choices and involvement have no relevance whatsoever, a fatalistic view more reflective of Islam than biblical Christianity.

INGREDIENTS

8	oz	Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
8	oz	Cream Cheese
1	lb	Powdered Sugar
4	oz	Coconut(optional)
2	ts	Vanilla

INSTRUCTIONS

TOPPING
First make your favorite chocolate chip cookie dough. Then put 8 oz into a
9" pie tin.  Spread it evenly around. Mix the topping well and divide it
equally between the 3 cookie pies. Spread the topping evenly and bake in
350^ oven til done.  15-30 minutes.

The hard heart is a stony heart. It is not malleable anymore. It’s hard and resistant to change, no longer tender and responsive to the squeeze of the hands of the Spirit. There is evil in our hearts and in the acts of our hands, and we’re okay with it. Could there be a more dangerous place for a believer to be?
