INSTRUCTIONS
Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the onion, cooking, stirring until transparent. Add the peas, sugar, and water. Cover and cook until the peas are tender. Put the pea mixture into a blender or food processor and puree. Return the mixture to the saucepan and add the milk or cream and the salt and reheat before serving.
