Cream Of Pea Soup

INGREDIENTS

2 T Butter
1 T Onion, Chopped
2 c Fresh Or Frozen Peas
1/2 t Sugar
2 c Water
1 c Milk Or Cream
Salt, To Taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the onion, cooking, stirring
until transparent.  Add the peas, sugar, and water.  Cover and cook
until the peas are tender.  Put the pea mixture into a blender or  food
processor and puree.  Return the mixture to the saucepan and add  the
milk or cream and the salt and reheat before serving.  From the new
