INGREDIENTS

4 | Crisp bacon, finely chopped | |
1/2 | c | Onion, finely chopped |
2 | t | Garlic, chopped |
2 | T | Flour |
1 | t | Lawry's seasoned salt |
1 | t | Black pepper |
1 | c | Milk |
1 | c | Half-and-half |
INSTRUCTIONS
Put spinach through a meat grinder or chop fine. Fry the bacon in a heavy-bottom saucepan until golden brown. Add onion and cook until tender. Add garlic. Remove from heat. Add flour, salt and pepper. Blend thoroughly. Slowly add milk and half-and-half. Return to heat and stir until thickened. Add spinach and mix thoroughly. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Makes about 4 servings.
