INGREDIENTS

2 Frozen chopped spinach, 10oz
each defrosted & drained
4 Crisp bacon, finely chopped
1/2 c Onion, finely chopped
2 t Garlic, chopped
2 T Flour
1 t Lawry's seasoned salt
1 t Black pepper
1 c Milk
1 c Half-and-half

INSTRUCTIONS

Put spinach through a meat grinder or chop fine.  Fry the bacon in a
heavy-bottom saucepan until golden brown. Add  onion and cook until
tender. Add garlic. Remove from heat. Add flour,  salt and pepper.
Blend thoroughly. Slowly add milk and half-and-half.  Return to heat
and stir until thickened. Add spinach and mix  thoroughly. Cook for 3
to 4 minutes.  Makes about 4 servings.  Nutritional analysis: per
serving: 210 calories, 13g fat, 577mg  sodium, 38mg cholesterol. 51%
