Creamy Apple Squares

INGREDIENTS

1 pk Yellow cake mix
1/2 ts Cinnamon
2 Apples; Thinly sliced, peel
1/2 c Butter or margarine
1 c Sour Cream
1/4 c Brown sugar; firm pack
1 Egg

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350~. Combine cake mix and margarine; mix until
crumbly. Reserve 2/3 C for topping; add brown sugar and cinnamon to
reserved topping mix. Mix well; set aside. Press remaining mixture
onto bottom of ungreased 9x13" pan. Arrange apple slicess over base.
Blend sour cream and egg; spread evenly over apples. Sprinkle
reserved topping mixture over all. Bake at 350~ for 25-30 minutes or
until topping is golden brown and bubbly. Serve warm. Refrigerate
leftovers. Makes 12 to 15 squares. These are divine served warm but
they ain't bad served cold.
