The wicked enemy is so inveterately opposed to the Divine majesty that he would gladly, if it were possible, overturn the throne of God. As he utterly despairs of accomplishing that object, he throws out all his venom against the elect, employs every expedient, and exhausts all his devices to enslave those whom the power of God has torn from his grasp. He assaulted the first Adam in Paradise. He made an attempt on the second Adam in the wilderness, but his efforts were foiled. Disappointed in that expectation, he bends all his attack on those whom Christ has claimed to be his own.

THE FOURTH OF JULY
ON GOOD MORNING AMERICA
ABC Network
 
 
Ashley Donnelly just called me to say that the Fourth of July is the day!
 
 
The producer of Good Morning America called her with the final date.
He told her they delayed the showing,
because they wanted to lengthen the segment.
I think they realized what special people they had here!
 
Sam is a Commander in the US Army, serving in Iraq to preserve our freedom. 
I've known Sam and his family ever since he was born,
and he and our older son were in the same class at our Christian school.
 
Sam's wife, Ashley, is a precious "Heart to Heart" lady,
and I know you will be blessed to see their little daughter, Sami Grace!
 
Please pray that the Lord will get the glory as their story goes out on national TV
on Monday, July 4.
